Goal: Complete relaxation and ice-cream

I started off the day with a new exercise routine on the treadmill that I found in Shape magazine. This is great for when I can’t get outside and need to work on my running and walking for my half marathons. It’s mostly about working on your cross training. Using the elevation and bursts of running then walking.
Then time for relaxation. I spent almost five (yes five) hours at the spa. Oh my! The Retreat Package which is the ultimate spa day package at Two Rivers Spa in Eagle, Idaho. It includes the following:

Two Rivers Spa never disappoints! I went and grabbed dinner between appointments at the nearest Starbucks and my total was $13, go figure. Such a great afternoon!
The only thing that would make this day complete is if I could put my freshly painted toes on a sandy beach, but ice-cream will have to do tonight. Ice-cream is my favorite dessert and I really enjoy it. I like vanilla so not fancy, but delicious. I will save the beach for maybe Friday the 13th. My day is now complete.

My lesson of hope: Pampering myself soothes my soul and keeping my promises of staying healthy to myself fuels my self-esteem. And ice cream well, it’s always a good idea. There is always room for Ice-cream.
