Day of Hope #64

Friday April 13 – Day of Hope #64

Goal: Maximize the clock

Quote: “Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time”. – Unknown

Got up and did 30 minutes of Yoga and a 30-minute walk. Today is a clock day. That means I work on something for 1 hour and 13 minutes then take a 13-minute break then back at it for another hour and 13 minutes.

I am in my Boise condo. Yesterday I went to the doctor, and they said I had arthritis in my hip. At this moment in time, I don’t have to have surgery, but I need to keep walking and moving. I made a healthy breakfast and started the clock timer. Today I have chosen to work on my online business and educate myself on all the things that I will need to do to get it going.

I love, love, love, the online business class I purchased called B-School taught by Marie Forleo. It has everything. I learned so much information about business and following your life’s passion. The classes are amazing and there are also so many bonus sections to give even more information. It was so worth the price and I have lifetime membership, so each year I get free updated content and surprises. It has given me the tools and the excitement to start my own business to give people hope. I watched several sections and did the fun sheets for 1 hour 13 minutes, took a walking break and watched some more. I did this all day until around 4pm in the afternoon. Felt so great. I have so many new ideas.

Then I changed things up and put on my Miraval Spa music CD (yes, it was still ok to listen to CD’s back then). I did 1 hour and 13 minutes of journaling. Feels so good to get things out on paper. Then I made me some homemade soup for dinner and watched movies for the rest of the evening as always was a great Day of Hope.

My lesson of hope: Taking time to work on my future self is so rewarding and making sure I incorporate breaks and clock timers really helped me to stay focused and reenergized as well.
